1) About the Artist
Mathilde Granveau is a French contemporary artist who has been living in Da Nang for two years. Her abstract style blends geometric forms with a strong sense of balance and movement to create striking visual compositions.
Inspired by Vietnamese culture, she reimagines architectural motifs and traditional symbols found in temples, crafts, and textiles — translating them into a modern visual language (Read more about how Viet Nam inspires Mathilde’s journey here). Using unique materials such as tape and mirrors, her works invite viewers to pause, feel, and reconnect with the essence of place and self.

3) About the ROOTS Collection
ROOTS emerged from a personal need for grounding: a search for equilibrium between movement and stillness.
Each painting becomes a dialogue with Vietnam’s visual heritage, reinterpreting traditional patterns through precise geometric abstraction. With earthy palettes and layered surfaces, the artworks reveal fragments of memory, traces of journeys, and subtle echoes of belonging.
ROOTS is both a tribute to the land that nurtures her and a quiet meditation on identity.
We invite art lovers, collectors, and friends of cultural exchange to join us in discovering this intimate and evocative body of work.
